A breaking and entering was thwarted in Pine Grove at Norris Pharmacy. On Nov. 18 at approximately 10 p.m. a male was observed attempting to break into Norris Pharmacy. An unknown passerby startled the would-be thief who escaped on foot; the passerby alerted Wetzel Sheriff James Hoskins. The attempted burglary is still under investigation by Hoskins and Sheriff’s Deputies Rob Scott and Randy Adams.
